Why both crafts

Giving crochet and knitting equal space

We built this blog to give both crafts the same attention. Each pattern is written with the same care whether it works in stitches or in rows, so you can move between them without feeling like one is an afterthought.

Every project is worked up and checked before it is shared, so the steps you follow match what was actually made.

Our process

From swatch to finished photo

01

Gauge swatch: stitch a small test piece and measure your tension before starting the project.

02

Stitch check: work the pattern and confirm each stitch and row matches the written instructions.

03

Finished photography: document the completed piece in daylight so the stitch texture reads clearly.
